About these terms

These terms apply when you use islandjerky.lk or order from Island Jerky (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them, together with our delivery policy, returns & refunds policy and privacy policy.

Products

We describe our products, ingredients and nutrition as accurately as we can. Pack photos are for illustration and the product may look slightly different. Always read the label on the pack before eating. Our jerky contains soy; check the packaging for full allergen information. Once opened, follow the storage guidance on the pack.

Prices

Prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes. The delivery charge is confirmed separately before dispatch. We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you placed your order is the price you pay for those items.

Orders

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price was shown in error, or details can't be verified. If this happens you won't be charged.
• Please give accurate contact and delivery details. We aren't responsible for delays caused by incorrect details.

Payment

We currently accept cash on delivery only. Payment is due in full to the courier when your order is delivered.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Sri Lankan law that can't be excluded.

Using this website

Don't misuse the site, attempt to access areas that aren't meant for you, interfere with its operation, or place orders you don't intend to accept.

Intellectual property

The Island Jerky name, logo, packaging, photography and content on this site belong to Island Jerky and may not be used without our written permission.

This website was designed and developed by ArcAI. The underlying design and source code are the work of ArcAI and are used under licence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
